Our unique 5 Stage Building Process allows us to stay on track and focused on the most important tasks at every moment throughout your project.  

STAGE ONE

CREATING THE VISION:
We understand the design and build journey is filled with possibility and potential. We work closely with our clients in the planning and early design phase to articulate their vision whilst ensuring they understand the process that lies ahead. Being involved in your project from the very beginning also allows us to foresee any potential challenges that may arise with your vision. 

Stage One is all about defining your project and developing a clear brief that will form the basis for the Stage Two Design Phase. 

In Stage One we will also discuss all the details surrounding Preliminary Agreements, Fees, Timelines, and other formalities so you can be confident that you're partnering with the right builder.  

StAGE TWO

THE DESIGN STAGE:
Once we've established a detailed Project Brief and have entered into a Preliminary Agreement, our design personnel will begin to work with you to create your project designs. This stage consists of seven key tasks:

1. The Initial Design Meeting and Cost Planning Session

2. The Concepts Designs

3. The Developed Designs (3D)

4. The Engineering Plans

5. The Working Drawings

6. The Detailed Cost Estimate

7. The Project Specifications

The decisions we'll make during this process will form the basis of Stage Three, which is development and acceptance of your Building Contract. 

StAGE THREE

YOUR BUILDING CONTRACT:

Your Building Contract is the most important document used during the entire process. Its purpose is to provide a clear and detailed description of the journey that we’re about to embark on as a team.

We ask that you read and fully understand your project contract before signing. If you have any questions or if something is unclear please do not hesitate to ask for clarification.

This partnership is based on full trust and transparency.

StAGE FOUR

CONSTRUCTION:

This is the project stage that everyone is most excited for. Stage Four is where we commence construction of your new home.

There are six key phases within this stage that we will discuss with you in more detail as we progress. You can read about these six key phases here. 

Stage Four is also where you get to make all of your interior and exterior design selections. You’ll be working with our specialist interior designer Sarah, who will guide you through the process and provide expert advice where needed.

StAGE FIVE

COMPLETION AND HANDOVER:
Stage Five is where we get to say "Congratulations" and hand you the keys to your new qldBUILT Custom Lifestyle Home. We'll be as excited as you when we can sit back and take in what we hope will be a breathtaking result.

We still have a few items for you in Stage Five. We'll be supplying you with your handover documentation which will include:

• A full contact list of specialists for each component of your home

• Your Maintenance Manuals and Instructions

• Your Appliance Warranties for safe keeping

Then it’s time to start living the lifestyle you've built your new home for.
